Frequently Asked Questions

If you have more questions, feel free to ask us!

Looking to get more involved?

At Catalyst, we believe that growth comes from change. You can grow by serving on one of our CataTeams or connecting with a Grow Group. Simply scan the QR code on the cards available at the back of the auditorium chairs or visit our website and click on the “Participate” tab on the home page to get involved.

What are Grow Groups?

We believe that Sundays aren’t enough. Grow Groups, also known as small groups, are where you can experience the most growth and support within our church community. These groups meet during the week for Bible discussions, support, prayer, accountability, and discipleship. Grow Groups provide an environment for people to connect, build relationships, and live out the teachings of the Bible on loving one another. You can find information about our Grow Groups by scanning the QR code on the auditorium chair cards or here on our website by clicking on the “Participate” tab.

Do you have a program for children from 6 weeks to 5th grade?

Yes, we have an excellent program called CataKids! All our teachers and helpers undergo background checks to ensure the safety of all the children. Our focus is on providing love and fostering spiritual growth for your children while you attend the service.

Can my kids stay in the service with me?

We believe that your kids will probably enjoy CataKids more than the main service, but you are welcome to have them sit through the service if you prefer. However, please be aware that there may be mature content in the adult service that you may not want your children to hear. We have a dedicated area on the right side of the auditorium for families, providing easy access to exit the room if your child becomes uncomfortable. Additionally, we have several areas outside the auditorium, in the lobby, and in the Mother’s Room located in the ladies’ restroom, where you can still follow the service.

Does Catalyst Church have a counseling ministry?

We do! Feel free to explore our counseling ministry here.

Does Catalyst Church help people in need?

We have a great resources page with numerous resources within our community for help with needs.

How can I find Catalyst Church and where do I park?

Catalyst Church is located at 1103 GA Hwy 113 in Carrollton, GA. When you arrive at our campus, you will find available parking right away, with a special first-time visitor parking area located directly in front of the auditorium building.

What time does the service start and how long does it last?

We start at 11 am and typically last 1 1/2 hours. We are growing, so keep your ears open for two services being offered soon.

What should I expect when I show up at Catalyst Church?

When you arrive at Catalyst Church, you can expect to be greeted by lots of smiling, happy people who will welcome you with a good morning and a hug. If you prefer not to hug, that’s fine – we will still show our love with a pat on the back and a handshake. Our church is well-known for being a very loving and welcoming community. It’s a safe and caring environment where you can experience the love, power, and presence of God.

What denomination is Catalyst Church?

Catalyst Church is not affiliated with any denomination.

Why are people so relaxed in their attire?

Our dress is certainly not meant to be disrespectful. We simply want to create an atmosphere that makes people feel comfortable. We also want people to see us as ‘normal’ individuals rather than ‘church’ people. We don’t want to appear any different on Sunday morning than when we’re at work or home.
